Key Work:
Tony is Senior Partner and has over 40 year’s experience as a solicitor. He has worked in many areas of law including personal injury and commercial litigation, although his career began in criminal and family law.
Tony is the Managing Partner of the Doncaster Office. He has also been listed In the Management category of the The Lawyer Hot 100.
Tony’s work now also involves strategic planning for clients, business development, processes, client relationships and employee engagement.
Background:
A career that began with the attainment of a LLB at Leeds University and the accolade of Jurisprudence prize winner in the final exams, continued with the attainment of the Sidney Herbert Clay prize in the Solicitors’ qualifying exam in 1967.
Tony was a founding committee member of The Forum of Insurance Lawyers, as a representative for the North East. He has also been actively involved in supporting charitable organisations over the years – including the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme – and is currently Chair of Macmillan Friends in Sheffield.
The father of four and grandfather of six children hasn’t a huge amount of time for extra hobbies, but does enjoy public speaking, reading and sport.
And finally…
With diverse past experiences such as working in a bakery and as a bus conductor, it’s perhaps not surprising to hear that in the early 1970s Tony co hosted a phone in show called Answerline on BBC Radio Sheffield.
